        A Power Transformer is a kind of static electrical equipment. It is used to convert a certain value of AC voltage (current) into another voltage or current of different values (current). The transformer is used to change the AC. A static electrical device that transmits AC power with voltage and current.
 
        What are the abnormal working conditions of the power transformer and the possible faults?
    (1) The abnormal working state of the power transformer. The abnormal working state of the power transformer mainly includes overcurrent caused by external short circuit or overload, oil level reduction caused by fuel tank oil leakage, increase of transformer neutral point voltage, overvoltage of power supply voltage or frequency reduction.
    (2) Possible failures of the power transformer:
    1) Internal faults refer to various faults occurring in the transformer tank. The main types are faults such as phase-to-phase short circuit, turn-to-turn short circuit, and single-phase grounding.
    2) External fault refers to the external insulation bushing of the transformer tank and various faults occurring on the lead wire. The main types are flashover of the insulating bushing, single-phase grounding (through the outer casing) due to cracks, and between the lead wires. Phase failures that occur, etc.
    (3) Relay protection to be installed:

    6) Over-excitation protection against over-excitation of the transformer.
